Hi, I’m staying in Mammoth Lakes and want to start on a new knitting project but realize I need some different needles to make the gauge. (I bought the yarns at Leslie’s on Wednesday - I could make the trip back down there, but considered the blog as a green option of saving gas) Is there anyone in Mammoth who could lend me (sell me) some needles sized 10 1/2, 11, and 12? I could mail them back to you when I get home next week.
Thanks

Love the new website! I’m the handspinner for most of Leslie’s yarns. She has great stuff! Thanks for supporting local businesses!

Hi, Mary!
I hope you connect with some needles, that is a nice ‘green’ post.
If no needles show up, Tim goes to Mammoth almost every day. He could take an assortment of needles for you to consider. When Green Thread customers are gauging, I encourage purchasing a range of sizes–then simply return those that do not work for cash back. I take a dollar off the price of the ‘used’ needles and other customers are happy to find a bargain.

Good Day,
I like the way you set up that your blog.greenthreadworld.com forum is the homepage, nicely done. Thanks!

Visiting Leslie’s shop was like visiting with a kindred spirit who loves beautiful fibers, needles from renewable sources, books that are helpful as well as beautiful. Leslie puts thought into every interaction, and her customer service is impeccable. A real find in the Eastern Sierras!
Can’t wait to head “up the hill” again and get more of the good stuff at The Green Thread. There was plenty of inspiration for future projects, just gotta keep knitting away to get my stash down to a workable size.

I am heading up to Mammoth Lakes in a couple of weeks and will definitely be stopping by! Knitting is my passion and to combine beautiful
Sierra scenery and lush natural fibers is something to look forward to!
