Gardening this spring, think of mulching with raggedy ann sweaters or irreparable scarves.
The softness and comfort of knitting with natural yarns feels fulfilling in the moment, and that feeling is sustained with knowledge that our loved ones will feel warmer and more beautiful.
Beyond the nourishment of creativity, beyond consumption, we rejoice that once the gift is worn to a Green Thread, it could easily melt into earth to feed us in a different way.
